The greatest DDoS attack to date, the HTTPS distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) strikes on Thursday were mitigated, according to Google’s cloud division. The attacks peaked at 46 million requests per second (RPS), according to Google.
The attack, which took place on June 1, 2022, and was directed against an unidentified Google Cloud Armor customer, is 76% bigger than the 26 million RPS DDoS attack that Cloudflare suppressed earlier this year, breaking the previous record of 17.2 million RPS. Read More…
