Researchers have discovered a critical flaw in the KCodes NetUSB component, which is used in millions of enduser router devices from Netgear, TPLink, Tenda, EDiMAX, DLink, and Western Digital, among others.
KCodes NetUSB is a Linux kernel module that allows local network devices to provide USBbased services over IP. The driver makes printers, external hard drives, and flash drives connected to a Linuxbased embedded system available over the network.
